Petra Brunner & the brunner team

Hotelier Petra completed an apprenticeship as a chef at the Alte Post in Schladming before moving to Salzburg to work in the patisserie at Konditorei Schatz. She then worked in the Arlberg region, Ischgl, Carinthia, and Switzerland. She returned to Werfen to work for the Obauer brothers as head pastry chef, which allowed her to cook in the kitchens of "Tantris" in Munich, with Wolfgang Puck in Los Angeles, and at the Hotel Manderin Oriental in Manila during the Austrian Weeks. Then, the call of home again became louder, and Petra Brunner returned to her parents' traditional inn, which she took over in 2011 and converted into a hotel in 2016.

The brunner team is a young, dedicated, uncomplicated, and cheerful bunch. We're happy to be on first-name terms with you. There's no need for extra frills or formalities.
